PvE rankings
Rated S for PvE by game8 and Destructoid, and holds the largest share of top-1,000 Combat Power characters. Unmatched ranged AoE and boss burst.
S on game8 and Destructoid with A from MetaBot. Ten multi-target attacks plus lifesteal make it the fastest, safest pack clearer.
The only dedicated tank, so every group needs one. MetaBot ranks it S for group PvE even though damage-focused lists place it lower.
Group-utility rankings put it at S thanks to seven party-wide skills, while damage lists say B. Its party multiplier wins out in real groups.
S on English editorial lists and A on MetaBot, but Korean players report lower PvE damage, so it lands just below the top.
The only pure healer and only in-combat resurrection, rated S for group play by MetaBot. Low personal damage keeps it out of S overall.
Strong DoT and AoE earn S from game8 and Destructoid, but MetaBot's group ranking is B because it brings no party-wide tools.
Excellent single-target burst on bosses, but it has the fewest AoE attacks and very low survivability, which hurts in dungeon trash.
PvP rankings
S from game8 and MetaBot. Stealth, guaranteed-evasion stance, buff stripping and the highest burst make it the premier duelist.
S from game8 and Destructoid. Long knockdown chains, Blade Toss anti-heal and strong sustain let it win extended brawls.
English lists rate it S for range and traps, but Korean players say it needs an evasion build to compete, so it sits at the top of A.
Sources split from B to S. The polymorph, seals and Hibernation are powerful in skilled hands, but its fragility punishes mistakes.
A across every major source. Pulls and a Taunt that works on players make it a top disruptor, even with modest damage.
Resurrection, cleanses and Voice of Doom anti-heal are invaluable in organized group PvP, though it is weak in one-on-one fights.
Group shields and Barrier Spell help team fights, but MetaBot and Korean players rate it weak in duels.
Fears, a seal and buff removal are useful, but spirits die fast and the class has no escape skill.

What is the best class in Aion 2?＋
For PvE the S tier on the current global patch is Sorcerer, Gladiator; for PvP it is Assassin, Gladiator. The best class for you still depends on role — tanks and healers are always wanted in groups.
Which class is best for solo play in Aion 2?＋
Switch the tier list to Solo leveling. Classes with self-healing and AoE damage clear open-world content fastest and need the least gear to stay alive.
Is the Korean tier list the same as the global one?＋
Not exactly. Korea and Taiwan are about a year ahead with a higher level cap and balance patches the global version does not have yet, so we weight global-client data first and use KR/TW experience to judge where each class scales.
