What is the best Chanter build in Aion 2?
- PvE tier A: Group-utility rankings put it at S thanks to seven party-wide skills, while damage lists say B. Its party multiplier wins out in real groups.
- PvP tier B: Group shields and Barrier Spell help team fights, but MetaBot and Korean players rate it weak in duels.

Dark Crush Support DPS (PvE)
The standard group build. Mantras stay toggled, Marchutan's Wrath and stuns keep Dark Crush available, and Power of the Storm speeds up the whole party. Respec at 45 to pick up more healing if your group needs it.

How the Chanter plays
Chanter is a melee battle priest. Before every pull you toggle your mantras, then fight up close with staff combos built around stunning or knocking down targets so Dark Crush can land. Between hits you shield, heal and cleanse the party, and Power of the Storm gives everyone a burst of Combat Speed and shorter cooldowns. Barrier Spell can save a wipe if you time it well. Your personal damage is lower than pure DPS classes, but parties notice immediately when a good Chanter is missing.
Strengths
- + Seven party-wide skills, the most of any class
- + Power of the Storm speeds up the whole party
- + Barrier Spell can prevent a wipe
- + Highly sought after for group PvE
Weaknesses
- − Lower personal damage than dedicated DPS
- − Weaker in one-on-one PvP
- − Busy rotation that mixes damage and support

Chanter FAQ
Is Chanter good for solo in Aion 2?+
Yes, better than most expect. Its self-heals and solid melee damage put it in the upper solo tier in armory-based rankings, though it clears slower than Gladiator or Spiritmaster.
Why do tier lists disagree on Chanter?+
Damage-focused lists rate it B because its personal output is modest. Group-focused rankings rate it S because its party buffs make everyone else stronger.
What are the best stigmas for Chanter?+
For PvE, run Undefeated Mantra, Sprint Mantra, Marchutan's Wrath and Power of the Storm, with Fracturing Blow as an option. For PvP, Barrier Spell and Impending Authority are the core.
Is Chanter a healer?+
It is a hybrid. It heals, shields and cleanses, but plays in melee and deals damage. Cleric remains the dedicated healer.
