Aion 2 Ranger Build
Kite from 20 meters and never get touched.
Ranger is the safe, popular ranged pick: long range, lots of control and strong solo play. Choose it if you like kiting, traps and lining up big charged shots from a distance.

What is the best Ranger build in Aion 2?
- PvE tier A: S on English editorial lists and A on MetaBot, but Korean players report lower PvE damage, so it lands just below the top.
- PvP tier A: English lists rate it S for range and traps, but Korean players say it needs an evasion build to compete, so it sits at the top of A.
PvE build
Deadshot Sniper (PvE)
The standard dungeon and farming build. Stack Precision, Gale and your stigma buffs, set up control so targets stay put, and fire Deadshot every time it is ready. An AoE macro handles packs.

- 5Set up control with Snare Shot, Suppressing Arrow and Burst Arrow
- 6Fill with Tempest Shot and Snipe, firing Deadshot whenever it returns
Core skills & stigmas
Vaizel's Authority
Flat Attack boost for burst windows.

Extra crit and Accuracy that stack with Precision.
Supporting Fire
Turret adds steady extra damage.
Arrow Storm
AoE stun with high stagger for boss breaks.
Deadshot
Main nuke; fire it on cooldown.
Tempest Shot
Top AoE filler and first pick for skill levels.
Gear
- ◆Weapon enhancement first
- ◆Combat Speed is unusually valuable because it shortens charges and casts
- ◆Some Movement Speed makes kiting and repositioning easier
- ◆Keep Deadshot on its own key rather than in a macro
Daevanion focus
- ◆Skill levels: Tempest Shot, then Snipe, then Deadshot
- ◆Vigilant Eye and Concentrated Fire next
- ◆Combat Speed and damage nodes over defense
Tips
- Stay near max range; most Ranger deaths start with drifting too close
- Save CC to open burst windows rather than firing it the moment it is up
PvP build
Evasive Kiter (PvP)
A community-inferred PvP setup built on escape and anti-heal. You open from stealth, punish healing with Drill Dart and use traps and Ambush Kick to keep melee classes off you. Korean players describe evasion-focused builds as the way Ranger competes in PvP.

How the Ranger plays
Ranger fights from around 20 meters, where almost all of its kit works. You build buffs with Marking Shot and Gale Arrow, lock targets down with Snare Shot, traps and stuns, then cash in with a fully charged Deadshot. Dodging is constant, so Stamina management is part of the job, and Stealth plus Ambush Kick give you room to reset when something reaches you. The class feels great when you keep distance and fragile when you do not.
Strengths
- + Most of the kit reaches 20m; only one skill needs melee range
- + Plenty of ranged hard CC, including traps
- + Drill Dart applies a heavy healing reduction
- + Strong, safe solo play
Weaknesses
- − Low survivability once an enemy closes the gap
- − Dodge-heavy play makes Stamina a constant concern
- − Korean players report weaker PvE damage than English lists suggest

- 04
Putting Deadshot inside a macro where it fires at the wrong time
