Where do you gather materials in Aion 2?

Gathering in Aion 2 is the Essence Extraction profession, and every node sits in the open-world field zones. This map shows all 4,951 known nodes in Verteron and Altgard at once: Odyle, Orichalcum Ore, Ruby, Sapphire and Diamond Gemstone veins, herb and ingredient plants, and logs. Odyle is the one to farm first, since nearly every crafting line uses it; ore and gems come next. Nodes respawn and are shared with other players, so a pin can be empty when you arrive, which is why routes through dense areas beat chasing single nodes. What can you gather in Aion 2?＋

Essence Extraction covers Odyle, ore (Orichalcum), gemstones (Ruby, Sapphire and Diamond), herbs and cooking ingredients (14 plant kinds on the global maps) and logs (Yggdrasil in Verteron, Asvata in Altgard).

When does gathering unlock in Aion 2?＋

Essence Extraction is widely reported to unlock around character level 10 on global servers; NCSOFT has not published an exact level. You gather by walking up to a node and interacting with it.

What should I gather first?＋

Odyle. Almost every crafting chain and Substance Morph uses it. After that, ore for weapon and armor crafting and gems for accessories and potions.

Why is a gathering node missing when I get there?＋

Nodes respawn on a timer and are shared with every player on the channel, so someone may have just taken it. Dense clusters on the map are more reliable than single pins.

Is this gathering map for the global servers?＋

Yes. The pins are October 2026 global (NA/EU) data from the community map at interactivemap.app. We have not verified every pin in game, so report a wrong one with the button below the sources.
