Gladiator is the most forgiving: strong AoE, built-in sustain and few cooldowns to juggle. Templar is a close second if you like tanking.
Can I change class later?＋
No — class is chosen at character creation. You can make additional characters on the same account, so it is common to level a second class later.
Should I pick the strongest class or the one I enjoy?＋
Pick the one you enjoy. Balance patches move tiers every few weeks, but you will play your class for hundreds of hours.
