Aion 2 Assassin Build
Vanish, strike from behind, delete a target.
Assassin has the highest single-target burst in the game and is the PvP pick for players who want to hunt. It is also the hardest class to learn, so choose it if you enjoy positioning, timing and high risk for high reward.

What is the best Assassin build in Aion 2?
- PvE tier B: Excellent single-target burst on bosses, but it has the fewest AoE attacks and very low survivability, which hurts in dungeon trash.
- PvP tier S: S from game8 and MetaBot. Stealth, guaranteed-evasion stance, buff stripping and the highest burst make it the premier duelist.
PvE build
Heart Gore Burst (PvE)
The go-to PvE setup. You buff, teleport behind the boss, dump five Insignia at once with Savage Fang and detonate, then hold your Heart Gore macro as crits keep resetting it. Illusive Clone extends the window for even more Heart Gore casts.

- Critical Hit›
- Cooldown Reduction›
- Movement Speed
Rotation
- 1Activate Swift Contract and Illusive Clone
- 2Shadowstrike to land behind the target
- 3Triniel's Dagger from behind
- 4Savage Fang to apply full Insignia
- 5Insignia Explosion to detonate
- 6Hold your Heart Gore macro while crits keep it available
Core skills & stigmas
Illusive Clone
Resets Heart Gore and boosts damage during burst.
Swift Contract
Combat Speed buff means more hits in every window.
Triniel's Dagger
Strong back-attack hit that also slows boss cooldowns.
Savage Fang
Instant full Insignia stack for the detonation.
Heart Gore
Crit-triggered core damage skill.
Insignia Explosion
Converts stacks into your biggest spike.
Gear
- ◆Enhance your daggers first; burst classes scale hard with weapon level
- ◆Take Critical Hit early since Heart Gore depends on crits
- ◆Cooldown Reduction brings your burst window back faster
- ◆Movement Speed helps you reposition for back attacks
Daevanion focus
- ◆Skill levels: Quick Slice, then Heart Gore, then Insignia Explosion
- ◆Exploit Weakness and Rear Smite next
- ◆Crit and damage nodes over defensive ones
Tips
- Early on, before stigmas, put Savage Roar in your macro to build Insignia
- On trash packs you will lag behind AoE classes; your value is on bosses
PvP build
Shadow Duelist (PvP)
A community-inferred PvP kit that swaps raw PvE damage for stealth, guaranteed evasion and buff stripping. You pick the fight, strip the target's defenses and get out before the counterattack. These picks come from kit analysis, not a tested meta build.

Rotation
- 1Approach in Shadow Walk
- 2Open with Shadowstrike from behind
- 3Spiral Slice to remove shields and buffs
- 4Triniel's Dagger, then Shadow Fall to extend the lock
- 5Burst with Insignia Explosion
- 6Pop Evasion Stance or disengage if the fight turns
Core skills & stigmas
Shadow Walk
Out-of-combat stealth to choose your engage.
Evasion Stance
Temporarily dodge everything to survive a counter-burst.
Spiral Slice
Gap close that strips up to two buffs.
Triniel's Dagger
Slows every enemy cooldown, including their defensives.
Shadowstrike
Teleport-stun opener from behind.
Shadow Fall
Turns the stun into a knockdown for a longer lock.
Gear
- ◆Weapon enhancement first, as in PvE
- ◆Accuracy so stuns and hits connect against players
- ◆Keep enough Movement Speed to chase and escape
Tips
- Never commit without an exit; Assassin dies quickly when caught
- Keep some Stamina in reserve instead of spending it all on dodges
How the Assassin plays
Assassin fights from the shadows. You teleport behind a target with Shadowstrike, stack Insignia marks with your AoE, then detonate them with Insignia Explosion for a massive spike. Heart Gore triggers off critical hits and carries your PvE damage. You have stealth, guaranteed-evasion and buff-stripping tools, but very little health, so the class is about striking, slipping out and resetting. Facing the wrong way or overstaying in a fight is usually what gets you killed.
Strengths
- + Highest single-target burst in the game
- + Deep CC kit plus two stealth stigmas and a full-evasion stance
- + Buff removal and cooldown extension make it a superb duelist
- + Second-most common class in the top 1,000 by Combat Power
Weaknesses
- − Very low survivability
- − Fewest multi-target attacks; weak on trash packs
- − Back-attack positioning and stack management take time to learn

Assassin FAQ
Is Assassin the best PvP class in Aion 2?+
It is one of the top two. Most English sources and the armory-based ranking put it at the top for PvP thanks to burst, stealth and buff removal. Korean players have also called it overtuned, so a balance pass is possible.
Is Assassin good for beginners?+
Not really. game8 rates it the hardest class to play, and its low health punishes positioning mistakes. Expect a steep learning curve.
Is Assassin good in PvE?+
It is strong on bosses but weak on trash because it has the fewest AoE attacks. Most rankings place it mid-tier for PvE.
What are the best stigmas for Assassin?+
In PvE, run Illusive Clone, Swift Contract, Triniel's Dagger and Savage Fang. For PvP, Shadow Walk, Evasion Stance and Spiral Slice are the usual core.
