What is the best Ranger leveling build in Aion 2?

Level a Ranger from max range and let slows do your defending. Put your first skill points into Tempest Shot, then Snipe, and take Deadshot as soon as it unlocks at level 14. After that, raise the passives Vigilant Eye, Concentrated Fire, Focused Eye and Wind Vigor. Gamerblurb prefers Drill Dart, Snare Shot and Gale Arrow first instead, and skill points reset for free, so neither order locks you in. On tough targets, fire Marking Shot for Precision, then charge Deadshot. Spend Nezekan points at 12 on Cooldown Reduction and Combat Speed, then Damage Boost on Zikel at 20. Stigmas open at 22: Vaizel's Authority first, then Bow of Blessing at 27. Follow the main Episode Quests to 45, wear the gear they hand out, and put upgrades into your bow first.

    • Snipe next; it's your filler and restores MP

  5. 5Back off to range and Snipe or Tempest Shot until Deadshot is back

Leveling tips

  • Stay near 20 meters: almost the whole kit reaches that far, and most Ranger deaths start with drifting too close.
  • Keep Deadshot on its own key instead of inside a macro so it fires when Precision is up.
  • Keep enough Stamina for at least one dodge; Vigilant Eye heals you on Evasion.
  • Grab Hidden Cubes and Empyrean Traces on the way with the interactive map.

What should I level first on Ranger in Aion 2?＋

game8 says Tempest Shot, then Snipe, then Deadshot once it unlocks at level 14, followed by Vigilant Eye, Concentrated Fire, Focused Eye and Wind Vigor. Gamerblurb starts with Drill Dart, Snare Shot and Gale Arrow instead. Skill points reset for free, so try both.

When does Deadshot unlock?＋

At level 14. It's a charged shot with three charge levels that deals 35% more damage while you have Precision from Marking Shot, so it becomes your opener on tough targets.

When do stigmas unlock for Ranger?＋

At level 22. Stigma slots open at 22, 27, 32 and 37. Vaizel's Authority and Bow of Blessing are the usual first two.

Is Ranger good for leveling?＋

Yes. Most skills reach 20 meters and you have slows, traps and stuns, so you can kill most mobs before they touch you. It's fragile once something closes the gap. It sits in the A tier for PvE on our tier list.

What stats should a leveling Ranger use?＋

Attack and Damage Boost first, then Critical Hit and Combat Speed. Add Accuracy only if your shots start missing.

Can I reset skill points in Aion 2?＋

Yes. Resetting skill points is free from the skill menu. Daevanion nodes can be refunded one at a time for a small Kinah fee, outer nodes first.
