What are the pet collection milestone rewards in Aion 2?

Aion 2 pet collection milestones pay 100 bound Soul Crystals at 5, 10, 20, 30 pets and 13 more steps up to 190, about 1,700 crystals in total. The 50, 100, 150 and 200 pet milestones give 10 Empathy Candy each instead, which you need for pet transform.

The pet collection counts how many different pet species you've unlocked, not how many you've leveled. One guide lists 21 milestones on global. Seventeen of them pay 100 Soul Crystal (Bound) each, at 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 60, 70, 80, 90, 110, 120, 130, 140, 160, 170, 180 and 190 pets, for 1,700 wildcard crystals. The other four, at 50, 100, 150 and 200 pets, pay 10 Empathy Candy each, the item that turns you into your pet for 300 seconds. That makes the collection the biggest Soul Crystal source in the game and the only large candy source besides the Shugo Festival Shop. Unlocking a species takes 5 Pet Souls, so the fastest way up is to tame many species lightly rather than max a few. Our [pet map](/map/pet/) shows where each species spawns.

How to climb the collection fast

  1. Unlock pets at about level 11 with the quest “All Geared Up”.
  2. Open the pet map and pick a zone; each family page lists its species and a route.
  3. Kill each species until it drops 5 Pet Souls, which unlocks it and counts towards the next milestone.
  4. Move on to the next species instead of leveling the first one. Leveling comes later.
  5. Cross into enemy territory during a Spacetime Rift for species that only spawn there.
  6. Claim each milestone in the Pet Collection tab as soon as it lights up.
