What time is the Spacetime Rift in my time zone?

Aion 2 Spacetime Rifts open every 3 hours from 00:00 UTC on global servers. In US Eastern daylight time that's 8 PM, 11 PM, 2 AM and so on; in Central European summer time 2 AM, 5 AM, 8 AM. Local times move one hour earlier when daylight saving ends.

Global Aion 2 (NA and EU share one schedule) opens a Spacetime Rift at 00:00, 03:00, 06:00, 09:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00 and 21:00 UTC. The game's clock is GMT+9, which never changes for daylight saving, so your local rift times shift when your clocks do. Europe ends summer time on October 25, 2026: Central Europe goes from 02:00, 05:00, 08:00 to 01:00, 04:00, 07:00, and the UK from 01:00, 04:00 to 00:00, 03:00. The US ends daylight time on November 1, 2026: Eastern goes from 20:00, 23:00, 02:00 to 19:00, 22:00, 01:00, and Pacific from 17:00, 20:00, 23:00 to 16:00, 19:00, 22:00. The portal accepts players for 10 minutes after each opening. Our [live rift timer](/rift-timer/) converts to your time zone automatically.

Never miss a rift, step by step

  1. Open our rift timer; it reads your device's time zone.
  2. Turn on a browser alert for 5, 10 or 15 minutes before each opening.
  3. Or subscribe to the calendar feed at /rift.ics, which has a 5-minute alarm on every rift and follows DST on its own.
  4. Get to a portal within 10 minutes of the opening; after that it stops accepting players.

Why some timers are an hour off

Korean servers open rifts at 02:00, 05:00, 08:00 KST and so on, which is 17:00, 20:00, 23:00 UTC: one hour before global. Some English countdowns follow the Korean schedule and end up an hour early for NA/EU players. Taiwan uses the same server-time hours on GMT+8, an hour later than Korea. Our timer uses the global schedule checked on the live servers on October 7, 2026.

Other hourly events, such as the Beritra Air Raid at half past every hour and the Shugo Festival, are on our all timers page.
