How do you farm Soul Crystals in Aion 2?

The fastest Soul Crystal route on global servers is collection-first. Pet collection milestones pay 100 bound wildcard Soul Crystals each, so tame every new species you meet; the densest pet areas are Remote Island in Altgard (42 spawn points) and Aullaeu Village Sky Island in Verteron (38). Second, open Hidden Cubes: there are 2,811 cube spawn points, and Abandoned Campsite (77) and Aullaeu Village Sky Island (64) are the richest areas. Third, buy the weekly shop caps (Substance Morph and the Festival Trade Shop; amounts are reported by one guide, so check the tooltip). Crystals are only used for Genus Insight Analysis: 4 crystals of the right color plus 1,000 Kinah per reroll, so don't spend them before you know which family you want.
