How do you get and use Empathy Candy in Aion 2?

Empathy Candy (Bound) transforms your character into one of your pets for 300 seconds. The pet must be a regular pet at Insight Level 3 (105 Pet Souls). Buy candy at the Shugo Festival Shop for 20 Centuryroot Tokens each, and collect 10 at each of the 50, 100, 150 and 200 pet milestones.

Empathy Candy is the item behind Aion 2's pet transform. Eat one and you take your pet's form for 300 seconds, which is mostly cosmetic and fun for screenshots. It only works with a regular pet at Insight Level 3, which costs 105 Pet Souls (5 to unlock, 25 and 75 more). Special pets such as the Black Dragon can't be used. There are two sources. The Shugo Festival Shop sells candy for 20 Centuryroot Tokens each; the Shugo Festival runs every hour and unlocks at level 13. Pet collection milestones at 50, 100, 150 and 200 pets give 10 candy each, 40 in total. The candy is bound, so you can't buy it from other players. If you mainly want crystals, spend your Centuryroot Tokens on Soul Crystals first and buy candy with what's left.

  1. Pick a regular pet, not a Special one like the Black Dragon.
  2. Raise it to Insight Level 3 with 105 Pet Souls.
  3. Use Empathy Candy (Bound) from your inventory and choose the pet form.
