Where do you find Dratona in Aion 2?

Dratona pets are Cogni (blue) family. In Altgard, Dratona spawns at Watcher's Tent and Hidden Cave and Dratona Tinkerer at Temporary Retreat. In Verteron, Scarlet Forest Dratona spawns in Red Maple Forest. Three sealed dungeons carry the name: Dratona Cave, Dratona Assembly Area and Dratona Outpost.

Dratona shows up in Aion 2 as both a pet species and a theme for sealed dungeons. All Dratona pets on our map are in the Cogni family, so taming them raises Cogni Insight and, once the family is maxed, the monsters are reported to drop blue Soul Crystals. Altgard has the most: Dratona at Watcher's Tent and Hidden Cave (two spawn points) and Dratona Tinkerer at Temporary Retreat (one). Verteron has Scarlet Forest Dratona in Red Maple Forest (one). Three sealed dungeons use the name. Dratona Cave is at the Temporary Investigation Base and Dratona Assembly Area at the Graverobber Campsite, both in Altgard. Dratona Outpost is at the Nahid Disposal Plant in Verteron. Spawn counts come from our global map dataset and only cover the two launch zones.

Tame every Dratona, step by step

  1. Open the Altgard Cogni pet map and start at Watcher's Tent.
  2. Go on to Hidden Cave for the second Dratona spawn, then Temporary Retreat for Dratona Tinkerer.
  3. In Verteron, use the Verteron Cogni map to find Scarlet Forest Dratona in Red Maple Forest.
  4. Feed each one Pet Souls to level Cogni and earn blue crystals.

Spawn points are from our October 2026 global map for Verteron and Altgard. Higher zones aren't mapped yet, so there may be more Dratona elsewhere.
